Clearance of the site

The first job is to clear the site. We started by lifting and stacking the Yorkstone that is all around the property.

Th Yorkstone is temporarily being stacked at the rear of the property.

The rear lawn will be replaced, so for the moment we are using it to store the lifted Yorkstone.

The Yorkstone will be cleaned and re-laid once the site has been prepared.

It is quite heavy, so takes a number of men to move some of the larger pieces.

At the same time the unwanted greenery is being removed.

The old ivy was removed from the walls...

...and unwanted trees were removed.

One of the trees is being prepared...

...in readiness to come down

A few days in:

The Yorkstone has all been lifted from the front of the house.

Some of the gravel has been raked up to allow free running of the site machinery.

The front drive of the house.

The rear garden, Yorkstone lifted and stacked.

Another view of the rear lawn.

This was the BBQ and seating area.

The side garden that is overlooked from the lounge window.

Looking towards the other side of the house.

The side garden ...

...here you can see the walls now that the ivy has been removed and the damage can now be assessed.

The side garden where the tree in the videos used to stand.

View across the rear lawn (don't forget that we will be replacing it!).
